Microsoft has just released the technical preview of it's new operating system i.e. Windows 10. After the launch of Windows 8 and 8.1, Microsoft was not making good. But lets wait whether Windows 10 bring back Microsoft.

Search is made Quicker : File Explorer will now display recent files and frequently visited folders making you find your files you have worked on easier and quicker.
Linux Mint has for a long time the ability to do multi desktops for at least the last 5 years and faster then what you are describing on Windows X.
ReplyDeleteDad uses it all the time and loves it! Our family computer has duel actually triple boot. Linux and Windows 7 with XP offline for running XPee programs though Windows Media is no longer supported and don't play songs properly if at all on XP.
The real problem though is due to the rise of smart phones it is almost impossible to find even simple parts. All the department stores have all but gotten rid of their computer departments and replaced them with phones and tablets.
Just to get a new motherboard is a real pain due to a lack of parts. Had to do a hard search on Amazon since you can't just get any kind for technical reasons to complicated to get into here especially since my post will likely never be read except by spameturs the crude version of amateurs.

In other words this is still the Metro. I miss the older naming schemes of Windows XP where everything was called what it was. Finding Sound and Audio was called just that and I miss the little doggy when searching.

The switch over to the 32 bit processors to 64 bit processers is mainly what killed the computer and Microsoft chose to be stupid about it with the Vista disaster making a lot of people go over to Smart Phones because computers were too difficult to use.
XP Service Pack 3 was pretty good for simple users and once users were more advance had options to customize more.
